Brand Spotlight – Honda
At Moon Motorsports, we are proud to carry a variety of outstanding brands of motorcycles. Each brand has their own story, shares a piece of our history, and has helped us build OUR story. This month, we would like to recognize Honda, which holds a pretty significant piece of our history.
Milo Moon, Sr. opened the doors to Moon Motorsports back in the mid-1950’s. What started out as a business that sold and serviced Plymouth and DeSoto automobiles, gradually shifted to motorcycles. Milo, a bike enthusiast, enjoyed selling motorcycles, servicing motorcycles, talking about motorcycles, and, of course, riding motorcycles. Enter Honda. Honda would be the first brand of motorcycles that Milo took on in his transition from the car business to the motorcycle business…and the rest is history (we couldn’t help, but say that).
A Big Shoutout to Honda
While our love for motorcycles hasn’t changed at Moon Motorsports, our company certainly has. We continue to grow and evolve, expanding our product lines and product knowledge from motorcycles to motorsports. So, it is with much enthusiasm that we give a great big SHOUT OUT to Honda! Thank you for being a part of the Moon Motorsports adventure.

Moon Motorsports – New Showroom Addition
If you haven’t visited our showroom lately, or if you are new to Moon Motorsports, we have exciting news. This past spring, we broke ground, expanding our current showroom to exceed over 20,000 square feet!
While we still have a month until the construction is complete, the transition has been amazing. Just a few short weeks ago, we kicked off this new adventure by removing a portion of one of our major walls, making way for the addition. Today, the outside walls and roof are set, and the inside concrete floor is in place.

Winter Storage Packages
This year, let Moon Motorsports handle your motorcycle winterization needs. We offer three levels of Motorcycle Winter Storage Packages.
Silver Storage
With the Silver Storage package, you’ll receive professional winterization, when we stabilize fuel and drain carbs (as applicable). We maintain your battery, and keep your motorcycle in secure cold storage. In the spring, we’ll wash your bike and get it ready for the road.
Gold Storage
The Gold Storage package offers the same benefits as the Silver package. Gold Storage also includes an oil and filter change, the completion of a seasonal service and inspection checklist, and 10% off parts and labor for additional work performed during storage.
Platinum Storage
Our top-of-the-line Platinum Storage package includes everything from the Silver and Gold packages. Platinum also offers secure heated storage and 20% off parts and labor for additional work performed during storage.

Not responsible for batteries that fail during storage. Storage must be paid at the time of drop-off. Pay for repairs at the time of completion. Secure Storage runs through 4/30/2017 with a $5.00 charge per day for every day after. Your insurance is primary coverage.

Moon Motorsports is a third-generation family owned and operated dealership in Monticello, MN, specializing in premium motorcycles and off-road vehicles. Moon Motorsports was started in the mid-1950s by Milo Moon, Sr. In the beginning Moon Motorsports was primarily selling and servicing Plymouth and DeSoto automobiles. Milo’s appreciation for motorcycles soon found more bikes in the shop than cars. Then in the early 60’s Moon Motorsports received its lineup of Hondas and it was all downhill from there.
Fast forward 50 years and our lineup today has expanded to include European models from Triumph, BMW, Ducati to our longtime partners Yamaha, Honda and Polaris. Our passion for the industry combined with driven customer service has now made us Minnesota’s dealer and service center.
We ride what you ride, and know that much more goes into the lifestyle than most people think. Our Parts Department can help you repair your ride or customize it for your individual taste. We also carry an array of gear for sale ranging from safety equipment to casual apparel.
